About Stedrok

Stedrok Pty Ltd is an independent stock research platform incorporated in Australia. It is not a registered financial adviser, broker, or fund manager in any jurisdiction. Stedrok does not hold, manage, or execute client funds or securities.

Stedrok currently publishes two research views: Core (rules-based systematic screening) and AI Hybrid (AI-assisted validation layer using AI language model analysis, currently in beta). See Methodology for full scoring logic.

Regulatory Status

Stedrok is not licensed under the Australian Financial Services (AFS) framework or any equivalent regulatory scheme in other jurisdictions. The platform provides general research information only. Nothing published by Stedrok constitutes personal financial advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a statement about the suitability of any investment for any specific person.

Users outside Australia should check whether access to or use of a service of this type is permitted under the laws of their own jurisdiction.

Note on “BUY” and “HOLD” labels: Rating labels used on this platform (e.g., “BUY”, “HOLD”) are internal algorithmic ranking classifications applied uniformly by a rules-based scoring model. They are not investment recommendations, analyst ratings, or opinions about the suitability of any security for any individual investor. These labels exist solely as a shorthand for a quantitative score threshold and carry no advisory meaning.

Data Sources and Quality

Company financial data (earnings, cash flow, balance sheet items) and price data are sourced from third-party financial data services, including Yahoo Finance data services. These are aggregated third-party feeds — they are not primary exchange data and carry the inherent limitations of their underlying sources, including potential delays, data gaps, corporate-action adjustments, and provider errors. Stedrok does not itself originate or warehouse primary financial statement data.

Data is refreshed on each scoring run (typically 2x daily). All input fields are passed through an automated anomaly-detection step before scoring begins. Records with missing, stale, or inconsistent data are flagged and excluded or downweighted before publication.

Despite these controls, data errors do occur. Financial API data for smaller or less-covered companies can be incomplete or delayed. Stedrok scores should be treated as a starting point for research, not as a definitive statement of a company's financial position.

Model Methodology Summary

The scoring engine applies a transparent, rules-based framework across four pillars: value, quality, resilience, and price context. The full methodology is published at Methodology. Weights, thresholds, and scoring logic are documented and applied identically across all covered securities.

The AI Hybrid layer takes shortlisted Core candidates through an additional validation step: cross-referencing current financial context using AI language model analysis before publication. AI Hybrid results are published when internal data-quality and confidence checks indicate sufficient support. LLM outputs are probabilistic and may contain errors or inconsistencies; they are not reviewed by a licensed financial professional prior to publication.

Conflicts of Interest

Stedrok has no paid placement, sponsored content, or affiliate arrangement that influences ranking output. No company pays Stedrok to be included in, excluded from, or elevated within research results. Educational content on this platform describes process and methodology — it does not constitute a recommendation for any specific company.

Stedrok employees or principals may hold positions in securities covered by the screener. Any such holdings are disclosed prominently within the specific research output or article where that security is discussed. Users should assume potential conflicts may exist for any covered security and conduct independent research accordingly.

What Stedrok Does Not Do

  • No personal advice or suitability assessment for any individual investor.
  • No performance guarantees, return promises, or forward projections.
  • No automated execution of trades on behalf of users.
  • No claim that a Stedrok score replaces individual due diligence, professional advice, or independent judgment.
  • No real-time trading signals or price alerts.

Past Performance Disclaimer

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Any historical scores, rankings, backtested data, or performance statistics published on Stedrok reflect past conditions only. They do not constitute a forecast, projection, or guarantee of future performance. The value of investments can fall as well as rise. You may receive back less than you originally invest. Capital is at risk at all times.

Model Limitations

Past performance is not indicative of future results. Any historical scores, rankings, or backtest results published by Stedrok reflect past market conditions only and do not guarantee any future outcome. Actual investor results may differ materially.

The Core scoring model is backward-looking. It uses reported financial data only — it does not incorporate analyst forecasts, management quality assessments, qualitative competitive analysis, or macroeconomic outlooks. A high Stedrok score does not predict that a share price will rise. A low score does not predict that it will fall. Markets are uncertain and losses are always possible.

The AI Hybrid layer uses large language models (including Google Gemini). LLM outputs are probabilistic and can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or internally inconsistent results — including hallucinations or misinterpretations of financial data. AI-assisted research outputs have not been audited by a licensed financial professional. Users should treat AI-enhanced views with additional caution and verify key data points independently.

The model applies the same ruleset across all geographies and sectors. Sector-specific accounting norms, regulatory differences, and local market conditions are not individually calibrated. Users researching companies in unfamiliar markets should apply additional judgment.
