How Stedrok Works

From raw financial data to a focused ranked list of fundamental value candidates — here is the full process.

Data Collection Across 5,900+ Companies

Twice per trading day, the Stedrok engine pulls fundamental and price data for 5,900+ listed companies across 40+ global exchanges. This includes the ASX, NYSE, NASDAQ, LSE, TSX, and major European and Asian markets.

Raw data is cleaned and normalised. Anomaly detection scripts flag records where figures look inconsistent with prior periods or peer group norms — flagged records are reviewed before scores are published.

Four-Pillar Scoring

Each company is scored across four independent pillars:

Pillar 1 — Value: Is it cheap relative to intrinsic worth? Metrics include DCF discount to fair value, Price-to-FCF, EV/EBITDA, and Price-to-Book.

Pillar 2 — Quality: Is the business actually good? Metrics include ROIC, gross and operating margins, earnings stability, and revenue consistency.

Pillar 3 — Resilience: Can it survive a downturn? Metrics include Net Debt/EBITDA, interest coverage, current ratio, and balance sheet stress score.

Pillar 4 — Price Context: Is it at an interesting entry point? Metrics include % below 52-week high and distance from recent support.

Combined Scoring and Ranking

The four pillar scores are combined into a single composite score for each company. Companies are ranked from strongest to weakest combined profile. The result is a focused list of the names with the strongest fundamental credentials across all four dimensions simultaneously.

Currency normalisation and sector-adjusted benchmarks are applied at the data layer so that companies from different markets and sectors are compared on equivalent terms.

2x Daily Refresh

The entire process — data pull, cleaning, scoring, and ranking — runs twice per trading day. This keeps the output current for patient fundamental investors without encouraging overtrading. The timestamp of the most recent batch is shown on the dashboard so you always know how fresh the data is.

Review via Dashboard

The ranked output is available through the Dashboard for Pro subscribers. Click any symbol to open a structured ticker insight with pillar scores, key metrics, and a plain-English research summary. Toggle between Core and AI Hybrid views.

New entrants to the ranked list are flagged so you can quickly spot names that have recently qualified. Sort and filter by sector, country, score, or research state.

Your Own Due Diligence

Stedrok is a research screening tool, not a buy-and-sell signal service. The ranked output is a starting point — a disciplined, rules-based filter that surfaces names worth investigating further. Users conduct their own deeper due diligence before making any investment decisions.
