The Fundamental Metrics Retail Investors Ignore
And Institutions Use

Professional analysts at hedge funds and asset managers run systematic fundamental screens every single day. They look for ROIC trends, free cash flow yield, balance sheet stress signals, and price-to-intrinsic-value gaps. Retail investors rarely have access to the same framework at scale. That's the gap Stedrok was built to close.

Chasing Narratives, Not Numbers

Most retail platforms rank stocks by momentum, analyst ratings, or social sentiment. Institutions measure ROIC trends, FCF yield, and margin of safety. These are fundamentally different signals — and conflating them is how retail investors consistently overpay.

Black Boxes Dressed as Insights

A tool that gives you a score with no auditable methodology is marketing, not research. If you can't trace a rating back to specific financial metrics — P/FCF, net debt ratio, earnings stability — you have no basis for trusting it when the market turns.

Institutional Tools at Institutional Prices

Bloomberg Terminal: ~$24,000/year. FactSet: ~$12,000+/year. LSEG Workspace: ~$22,000/year. The data infrastructure to run institutional fundamental analysis has been locked behind price points designed to exclude individual investors. Until now.

Transparent Methodology. Individual Investor Price.

We focus on value, business strength, resilience, and price context - not momentum or hype. The methodology is fully transparent. Every rating comes with a clear explanation of the underlying factors. And it's affordable: $5 per month, with a genuinely useful free tier.

What You Get with Stedrok

A focused, professional toolkit for value-oriented stock research.

Ranked List Every Market Day

5,900+ companies across 40+ global exchanges scored 2x daily. The engine measures intrinsic value discount, ROIC trends, balance sheet strength, and price pullback — then distills the results into a focused ranked list of the strongest fundamental candidates.

Transparent Methodology

No black boxes. Every score traces back to publicly available financial data: Price-to-FCF, EV/EBITDA, Return on Invested Capital, net debt/EBITDA, earnings stability, and 52-week price context. The full model logic is published. Read it before you subscribe.

Resilience-First Mindset

Value traps have quietly undermined more portfolios than most investors realise. Before Stedrok highlights any undervaluation, every company must pass a balance sheet stress test: net debt levels, interest coverage, current ratio, and earnings consistency. Cheap for a reason gets filtered out first.

Your Private Account

Secure account access with full data ownership. Export data to CSV for your own analysis. Full control over your account and data.

Simple, Honest Pricing

$5 per month via PayPal. Manage or cancel your subscription online at any time. Free tier includes 3 BUY-rated stocks.

Data You Can Trust

Company financials and prices sourced from public market data providers, including Yahoo Finance, and cross-referenced on each run. Anomaly detection flags data quality issues before scores are published. No stock gets a BUY rating on corrupted or incomplete fundamentals.

What the Model Actually Measures

Four pillars. Specific metrics. Auditable logic. No guesswork.

Pillar 1 — Value
Is it cheap relative to intrinsic worth?
DCF discount to fair value · Price-to-FCF · EV/EBITDA · Price-to-Book
Pillar 2 — Quality
Is the business actually good?
Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) · Gross & operating margins · Earnings stability · Revenue consistency
Pillar 3 — Resilience
Can it survive a downturn?
Net Debt / EBITDA · Interest coverage · Current ratio · Balance sheet stress score
Pillar 4 — Price Context
Is it at an interesting entry point?
% below 52-week high · Distance from recent support · Short-term price momentum context

Decide

Run Your Own Checks and Invest

Take two minutes to scan recent news, filings, and broker reports for any company you are serious about. If it still looks sensible, continue your own decision process through your chosen broker. Stedrok does not execute trades or hold client money, and many investors choose to continue with disciplined dollar-cost averaging over time.

Who Stedrok Is Built For

Investors who value patience, discipline, and a margin of safety.

Value-Oriented Individual Investors

You prefer to buy resilient businesses at sensible prices rather than chase momentum or growth stories. You're comfortable doing your own research but want a systematic way to filter the universe first.

Long-Term, Conservative Portfolios

You're building a portfolio for the next 5, 10, or 20 years. Short-term volatility doesn't derail your plan. You care more about downside protection and business fundamentals than about timing the market.

Investors Skeptical of Hype

You've seen too many hot tips, growth narratives, and "can't miss" opportunities turn into disappointments. You want a disciplined, repeatable framework that keeps emotion out of the screening process.

Self-Directed Researchers

You make your own investment decisions and don't want someone else's advice. You're looking for a research tool that presents data clearly and transparently, then gets out of your way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from new users.

Is This Financial Advice?

No. Stedrok is a stock research platform. The scores are model outputs based on historical data and public information. They are designed for screening and research, not for automatic buy or sell decisions. Always consider your own objectives, financial situation, and risk tolerance before making investment decisions.

What Stocks Are Covered?

Stedrok scans thousands of companies across global markets and publishes a ranked daily list that typically includes 50+ BUY candidates. Coverage keeps expanding as data quality and model confidence improve.

What Is AI Hybrid?

AI Hybrid is a separate research layer available to Pro members. It takes companies shortlisted by the Core model through an additional AI-assisted validation step - cross-checking data against live sources and current context before results are published. It runs independently from Core and does not change Core ratings.

AI Hybrid is currently in beta. Results are published when the validation step meets the integrity threshold, so not every Core result will always have a corresponding AI Hybrid result.

How Often Is Data Updated?

Market prices and scores are refreshed 2x daily. Financial statement data is updated shortly after companies report earnings. This is built for long-term investors, not day traders.

Can I Use the Free Tier Long-Term?

Yes. The free tier gives you ongoing access to 3 BUY-rated stocks from the current daily list. There is no credit card requirement and no expiry date. We intend to keep a free tier available long-term, and if that policy changes we will provide notice. Upgrade to $5/month when you want the full ranked daily list, typically including 50+ BUY candidates from our global scan.

How Do I Cancel My Subscription?

You can cancel any time from your Account Settings page or directly through PayPal. There are no lock-in contracts or cancellation fees. If you cancel within 30 days of your first payment, you're eligible for a full refund.

Is My Payment Information Secure?

All payments are processed by PayPal. Stedrok never sees or stores your credit card details. Your billing information stays with PayPal, a PCI-compliant payment processor.

Can I Export the Data?

Yes. Paid subscribers can export the full ranked stock list to CSV format. This makes it easy to integrate Stedrok data into your own spreadsheets or research workflow.

What If I Disagree with a Rating?

That's completely fine. Stedrok is a starting point, not an oracle. If your own research leads you to a different conclusion, trust your judgment. The model can't incorporate factors like management quality, competitive moats, or your personal risk tolerance.

The same framework. A fraction of the price.

Free access to 3 BUY-rated stocks. No credit card required. Upgrade to $5/month when you want the full ranked list — cancel any time, 30-day money-back guaranteed.

We charge a small monthly fee ($5/month) to cover servers and support. There are no add-ons. Past outcomes do not promise future outcomes.

Why This Approach

Broad indexes can silently concentrate your money in a handful of mega-cap names. A disciplined value lens helps you avoid paying any price for growth and keeps fragile balance sheets out of the portfolio. We built these screens for our own research and used them for roughly five years before opening the tool.
